Pray without ceasing...

Anna is about to undergo surgery. This surgery may take anywhere from 4-15 hours. Pray that her little heart and body will continue to strengthen, and that Matt and Alissa will find peace amidst all of this...

  3. Praying: "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." (Romans 15:13) and rejoicing with you in the birth of your precious Anna.

  4. alissa and matt, Anna Joy is beautiful. All of you, including Isaac, are in my prayers and I will leave my prayer door open all of the time for you. I know it's God's work that Anna is breathing on her own, that you and Matt could hold Anna and tell her you love her. Any tears I shed will be tears of joy for Anna. I admire you for your powerful faith, courage and love through all of this.

  6. Praying for steady hands, clear thinking and strength for the surgeons and medical staff, peace that only He can provide...peace that surpasses all understanding to Matt and Alissa, that God may provide emotional stamina to those folks helping keep Anna Joy's family upheld in prayer and supporting them in these trying hours and days ahead. Our God is an awesome God. This is being typed by a woman, who once as a baby was so ill her parents were told to come say their goodbyes...the helicopter was ready for Children's but I might not survive the flight. By the grace of God, I am here. I pray the same miracle for Anna Joy. Many prayers and much love, DorothyAnne & Family

He and my sister filled us in on what is going on and I just wanted to let you and your family know that our family and friends are praying. I posted a link to your blog on my fb page and have had a few friends repost. We are getting the word out. The more prayers the better. Happy Birthday Anna! Fight hard little one...

  18. The picture of the three of you is touching. I can see on Matt's face the concern he has for his girls. A woman worries about her baby, but Daddy worries about about Mommy AND baby. FATHER GOD... thank YOU for holding Matt and Alissa close during this time. Thank YOU for the way YOU are working in Anna Joy's heart. Thank YOU for helping Matt to be strong for his girls.
